Sexual Health Education

Individuals with disabilities experience significantly higher rates of sexual abuse and exploitation than their non-disabled peers. At the same time, many receive little to no formal sexual health education.

This gap has real consequences.

Sexual health education is not just about sex—it is about safety, consent, relationships, self-advocacy, and human rights. It helps individuals recognize unsafe situations, communicate their needs and boundaries, build healthy relationships, and make informed decisions.

Comprehensive education can reduce vulnerability to abuse, prevent accidental perpetration, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and increase opportunities for meaningful relationships, love, and connection. Everyone deserves the knowledge and skills needed to navigate relationships safely, respectfully, and with dignity.

Our sexual health education curriculum provides neurodivergent learners with accurate, accessible, and developmentally-appropriate information about relationships, bodies, boundaries, consent, personal safety, and sexual health. Classes are designed to meet learners where they are, using clear language, visual supports, interactive activities, and practical real-world examples.

Topics may include puberty, hygiene, friendships, dating, healthy relationships, consent, online safety, self-advocacy, reproductive health, parenting choices, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting skills.

We believe individuals deserve access to comprehensive information that supports informed decision-making throughout all stages of life. Our goal is to empower learners with the knowledge and skills needed to build healthy relationships, make informed choices, advocate for themselves, and navigate adulthood with confidence.
